The clones vanished as Nick changed in a white plume of smoke, becoming a perfect copy of a classmate. He looked in the mirror with a grin, before turning back and checking off the jutsu from the list. Taking his backpack from the floor, he next attempted a replacement jutsu.

This time he landed it perfectly, and first took the form of the backpack, before quickly replacing himself with it, in a perfect replacement jutsu against an imaginary opponent. As he checked it off the list, he read over the next. He paused a moment, set down the paper, before picking it up again and rechecking. "Thousand years of death... that's a joke right, that seriously can't be real!" But it really was on the list, so with a sigh he tried to practice it.

His form was perfect as he did an upward thrust in the air, and he nodded. "That's that... like I'm ever gonna use that move!" Though it did give him an idea for a way to counter it, should anyone else try it on him. "Well that's that." With the homework done, he decided to relax for the rest of the night.
